You will enjoy wine tastings at top wineries making award winning wines. Whether it’s red, white sweet or dry, we will find a wine for you. All set in the magnificent Hill Country landscape spotted with wildflowers and the occasional Longhorn. Texas Hill Country wines have been around since the pioneer days when settlers used the wild mustang grapes to make their wine. Jump to the present and the varieties of grapes and wines have exploded. Texas Hill Country wines have made a splash both in America and Europe garnishing the approval of the most discriminating and winning many prestigious awards.
You are our primary concern. Our tour experiences are limited in size, allowing for a more intimate environment and you are never lost in the hustle. We treat each and every guest like we would want to be treated ourselves. Your guide’s focus is on you and making sure you enjoy the experience from start to finish.
We pick you up at your hotel or B&B and bring you back safe at the end of the day. Depending on your choice of tour you have plenty of time to sleep in and then enjoy breakfast at any number of eateries around town. We visit three wineries that will spotlight the great variety of what the Texas Hill country vineyards have to offer. Each winery will give you four or five tastings that showcase their award winning wines. Reservations are made in advance and you will be treated as a VIP at each winery. About Town Wine Experience has several Experience options to chose from. Each Experience has been designed to give you a great cross section of the Wineries that have made the Texas Hill country the “Napa of the South.”
We had a fantastic time on our 25th anniversary wine tour. Paul did such an excellent job of taking us to some excellent wineries, catering to our needs (water, snacks, taking items to the van). The van was comfortable for the couples on our tour. He picked us up on time and dropped us off right in front of our door. I highly recommend this tour! Can’t say enough about Paul!
